In terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), every business owner must produce and file a manual in order to comply with the provisions of Section 51 of the Act.

Section 51 compliance requires the business to file the manual and have it available for inspection. It is imperative that a copy of the Section 51 Manual is filed and lodged with the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).
